Hrithik Roshan to undergo brain surgery - TOI

Post by Tanthya on 2013-07-07, 16:36

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan to undergo a brain surgery at Hinduja hospital on Sunday afternoon

The actor before leaving for surgery posted on his facebook, "We all know that we create a life of joy using the power of our mind. I've had the privilege of creating wonders with this amazing gift given to us called the brain. Occasionally one must look within and realize its value. It gives us the power to see, hear, touch, smell and taste, it allows us to conquer fear and create courage to do things we never imagined. Maybe it's time for me to feel the power literally. I am going to go through brain surgery today and want you to know that I am going in with absolute power to recover fast. My thanks to all of you for using the power of your mind to contribute to my life. Love you all."

The actor's father Rakesh Roshan said, "It is a minor surgery called chronic subdural hematoma and it happens due to some impact on the head.''

Roshan further added, "Hrithik Roshan got hit on his head during the shooting of Bang Bang two months back in Phuket. He had constant headache and it developed into a clot in between the brain membrane and the skull which he is getting operated for. Dr B K Mishra from Hinduja hospital, who is a gamma knife specialist, will be operating him."

Hrithik has been doing a lot of heavy action for Krrish 3 and Bang Bang.

Hmmmm.... Subdural hematoma... That will leave a tiny hole on his skull. This will make me like Roshan even more... Double fingers, hole in the skull... Battle scars from life... Mark of a man! That reminds me of how much I love the three scars under Barun Sobti's eyebrow... Mark of a man... Indeed! ( ha ha ha ... I connected this post to IPK too... Gawd, I'm getting better at this) :)

Good luck to Roshan for quick recovery.
