Epi6: The noted difference.

Post by sunshine99 on 2013-09-03, 11:41

Mama's boy cuts the ties to her apron strings.. Says it out aloud.. Behind a successful man there  can be another man ... Did u hear it Groucho Marx? it's time for your  immortal quote" behind every successful man is a woman" to become mortal again and decay.

The obligatory creased lines on the forehead for the marriage of daughters in IPK1 are no  more a bother.... The NO to mangalsutra and sindoor by the lovable daughter for the  I-hate-you-and-the-world god-knows-why-guy is upheld.

The 2 dads understand the broken down marriage alliance with sagacity...some things are not meant to be...The sari clad pativrata Aais are still stuck in the  golden era of the class gap.... The rich Aai sees the Agnihotri bandwagon as class apart.. The poor Aai is happy that the rich class has managed to give an invitation of a function to the poor class even when they are class apart. ( If you had trouble making sense of the sentence it is solely because I am trying to ape the writer in trying to fit compelling logic to the turn of events).

Unlike IPK1 where it was the menfolk who majorly needed reform. Here it is the women  who need to be given the gyan ki ghutti. to maintain familiarity with season1 the need  for a makeover of the male lead has been left unchanged.

The  deliberations of the FL on restructuring of the ML are over VOIP and not mere  thinking out aloud or F to F chats( face to face chats). After all sequels need to reflect the changing times .:)

The goody girl and the broody boy  clash over an SUV's  skimirish with a sandal unfortunately it didnot escalate to become a roadside rich guy harasses a poor girl scandal( what a pity!! a mob of extras  lost out on a potential employment .)

A rash drive ,desolate location , dupatta getting stuck and needing a male hand to free it of a passenger door confinement, no love lost looks ,some words uttered in a menacing tone. The driver and the vehicle leave ,leaving the girl in a lurch.... yet season 1 and 2 are different bounce

After all  the female lead didnot face problem in tying the car safety belt nor landed herself  in a puddle on the road Wink

Beautiful post and some very true facts about the characters. You are bang with the roles reversed from season 1. Here the women need reforming which is more tougher :lol!:

Good that the series has found it's set of loyal viewers. At least some people can enjoy the fare. For us it is the déjà Vu  that gives u an overwhelming urge to just  get hold of the writer and yell stop copying.
