A Game of Chess? – Is Anything Black and White in Qubool Hai

Qubool Hai has become a true family drama with its intricate relationships that seemed to be tangled in knots that will take an expert to unravel. It is a game of chess with strategies and moves at play that are mind boggling. However is this game played by its rules? Is everything black or white? There are layers within a relationship that are twisted and tied to one another. Lets take Tanveer. She is a spy sent by Razia Begum (Alka Kaushal) to Asad Ahmed Khan’s (Karan Singh Grover) house. Now, it seemed that was it and the old relationship was the way to gain entry into the Khan household. However, now we see Tanveer (Nisha Nagpal) has an agenda of her own. She is pregnant and now she has her eyes set on Asad Ahmed Khan to marry so that her status is elevated in the society. Her past seems have some dark corners on which light might come in due course time but till then the audience will be left to become sleuths themselves and try and solve this mystery.

Raziya Begum Siddiqui now she is the queen of intrigue. Her moves could send the shivers down one’s spine. She has used her daughter in her game against Raashid Ahmed Khan (Vaquar Shaikh). She is a woman without scruples. Her game is one of amassing all to herself. And it is not wealth we are talking about. She likes to rule the world she lives in from her husband Gaffur A Siddiqui (Tej Sapru) to everyone within her sphere including Haseena Bi.

Now trying to break this web of lies and intrigue is our lone ranger Badi Bi (Vidya Sinha). She believes in giving it back to her tormentor in equal measure. A taste of her own medicine to Raziya Begum is her plan. And yes it is working. Has Raziya Begum found her match? Perhaps.

Revenge they say has a way of backfiring. Raziya in her plan to seek revenge has made some enemies. Her revenge was against Gaffur A Siddiqui’s love interest. She had killed the lady in question but the crime that was hidden for 17 years is unravelling. Where will this lead? Then there is Badi Bi. She is seeking reparation for all the damage done to her son and his families. Will she succeed in her mission? And then there is Tanveer. She seems to have an axe to grind. Against whom is a little mysterious right now but yes her pawn in the game seems to be Asad Ahmed Khan. Will she be successful or will it backfire on her?

So far we have Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi Jyoti) be a shield for the Khans. On the other side we have Ayaan Ahmed Khan (Rishabh Sinha) who seems to have taken up the weapons to fight against atrocities of Raziya Begum but he has also become a pawn in Raziya’s scheme.

Qubool Hai gives you a wholesome saga with spices and sweetness in equal proportion.
